I’m proud to have been elected to serve on the parish council for four years from 9th May 2023.
I’ve lived in Tibberton since 2012 with my wife and son and, more recently, our affectionate Jack Russell.
I’ve worked for over 30 years in the university sector mostly in varied senior management roles. I’ve chaired or been a member of numerous committees and for several years was on the board of directors of the leaseholders’ management company for a major Birmingham apartment development. I’m also Chair of Governors for Pinvin Federation of Schools.
More importantly, however, I love living in Tibberton and want to contribute to the life and success of our wonderful village. I was delighted to be involved in the group which organised and ran the successful Platinum Jubilee celebrations whilst I’m also part of the group developing plans for a community hub and have helped with other local initiatives.
As Parish Councillor I’m keen to engage and work with residents and local businesses, fostering the talent and enthusiasm we have across the village to ensure Tibberton continues to be a place of which can all be proud.
