Sarah Harfield

Vice-Chair

Elected to serve on the parish council for four years from 9th May 2023.

I’m Sarah and I have lived in the village since 2004. I am married with two grown up children and a dog. I have enjoyed a career in education, working my way up to the position of Deputy Head teacher and teacher of mathematics, which I enjoyed for fifteen years.  I recently made the decision to move away from teaching and I now work as an Examinations Officer.

Last year I was lucky to be part of the Jubilee group, working alongside a fabulous group of like-minded villagers, who I am now proud to call friends; several of whom are now fellow councillors.  This year we organised a very successful weekend of events for the King’s Coronation. The community spirit, engagement and enthusiasm from villagers over this weekend made it clear that this is what Tibberton needs and wants. I am excited to continue working with the Events Group.

I would also like to work to forge links with Worcester Six and other local business, with a particular focus on developing opportunities for our youngsters, such as work experience; sponsorship; sporting and leisure opportunities.

I would like to see villagers coming together to pool their knowledge, experience and talents for the benefit of Tibberton and its residents. With improved communication and opportunity to contribute this ideal can become a reality.
