Liz Morton

Councillor

Elected to serve on the parish council for four years from 9th May 2023.

I moved to Tibberton in 2021, having lived in Solihull for 30 years and prior to that I was brought up and educated in Yorkshire. I am married to Andrew and have 2 grown up daughters.

Professionally, I have had had an extensive career working as a lead consultant in the technology and software industry, being commercially astute and people oriented, I am keen to use these years of experience to work as part of a proactive team of parish councillors to improve our local area for the benefit of all our village residents and visitors.

My family and I made a conscious decision to move to a more rural setting and I am particularly passionate about how the loss of our local environment as a result of development and urbanisation can be mitigated and managed.
