Woodland birds of conservation concern are those species on the red and amber lists of Birds of Conservation Concern associated with woodland habitat[footnote 1].

The species in this list are those referred to in the conditions of general licence GL40: to take or kill certain species of wild birds to conserve wild birds, or flora and fauna of conservation concern.
