Elected to serve on the parish council for four years from 9th May 2023.
I moved into the village about 18 months ago. I am 58 years old and, until Xmas last year, I was Managing Director of the UK operation of a global medical devices business in the neurovascular market. I then took early retirement and decided I wanted to give a bit back to society. I am married to Tim and between us we have four children between the ages of 19 and 27. We also have a mad Cockerpoo! I was born and brought up in Wychbold, went to school in Worcester and did a Business Studies and languages degree in Birmingham so Worcestershire is very close to my heart. I have gained significant business skills through my career having worked both at home and abroad and speak fluent French. I am a “solutions” person with a cup very much half full – at least! Tibberton is already a great place that has welcomed my family with open arms. But I believe there is the potential to make it even greater and am delighted to play my part. I have also recently taken up the role of Chairperson to the Village Hall Management Committee on behalf of the Tibberton Community Land Trust, as I felt this was an important project which needed to be completed to provide a much-needed facility for the village. So, life is very far from dull in my world!
